Definium says its LSD drug met its goal in a second anxiety Phase 3, the drug's third positive Phase 3, with Washington sites in the program
On September 14, 2026, Definium Therapeutics, the company formerly called MindMed, said its LSD-based drug DT120 met its main goal in Panorama, a Phase 3 trial in generalized anxiety disorder, and called it the drug's third positive Phase 3 trial. The company plans a pre-NDA meeting with the FDA in the fourth quarter of 2026, and Washington clinics appear in three of its trial records.

What the company reported
On September 14, 2026, Definium Therapeutics announced topline results from Panorama, its second Phase 3 trial of DT120, an orally disintegrating tablet of lysergide (LSD), in adults with generalized anxiety disorder.1 The company said the trial met its primary endpoint: at week 12, scores on the Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale fell 5.1 points more with DT120 than with placebo (p<0.0001).1 It called Panorama "the third positive Phase 3 trial for DT120 ODT," after Emerge in major depressive disorder in June and Voyage in generalized anxiety disorder, announced August 12.12
On safety, the company reported no drug-related serious adverse events and no suicidality signal. It said the most common side effects on the treatment day in the main study arm were illusions (68 percent), nausea (37 percent) and headache (24 percent).1 These are the company's topline figures, not a peer-reviewed paper, and DT120 is still in development, not approved.
The Washington sites
Panorama's ClinicalTrials.gov record (NCT06809595) lists 36 locations, including Core Clinical Research in Everett. It shows 245 participants enrolled and primary completion on August 13, 2026.3 Voyage (NCT06741228), the August readout, listed Seattle Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center among its 34 sites and enrolled 214 people.4
The next Phase 3, Ascend (NCT07592689), tests DT120 in major depressive disorder. It is recruiting, with an estimated 165 participants and primary completion in September 2027. Its two Washington sites, Seattle Neuropsychiatric Treatment Center and VA Portland Healthcare System in Vancouver, were both "not yet recruiting" as of the record's October 23, 2026 update.5
The road to an FDA filing
The company's plan, in its own words: "Pre-NDA meeting scheduled in 4Q 2026; NDA filing anticipated in 1H 2027."1 A pre-NDA meeting is a meeting with the FDA before a new drug application is filed; these dates are company plans, not FDA decisions. DT120 holds Breakthrough Therapy designations for generalized anxiety disorder and for major depressive disorder; the company announced the depression designation on September 8, 2026.6

Context for Seattle readers
LSD is a Schedule I substance under federal law and under Washington law, where the state's Schedule I list names lysergic acid diethylamide.89 A trial result doesn't change that by itself. Executive Order 14401, signed April 18, 2026, directs the Attorney General to review any product containing a Schedule I substance that has "successfully completed Phase 3 clinical trials for a serious mental health disorder," so that rescheduling, if appropriate, can move quickly for products the FDA approves.10 Our psychedelics in Seattle entry covers LSD's legal status alongside other psychedelics, and the Seattle research entry covers the region's trial sites and research history.
